Please purchase and wear your pins all year. Run an event in your Aerie, District and Zone to raise funds to support this cause. Heart Disease effects us all. Eagles have the biggest hearts.

1. State Charity Program

All charity committee team members are working together to help promote all Michigan Eagle charities, that include all national charities, MEFRC, Memorial Forest and Michigan Disaster.

One tool is the sale of Awareness Bracelets in Green & White and Blue & White. Limited number available cost just $2.00 

Proceeds split between all charities equally.

Run a fund raiser locally to support these causes.  

State goal for all fund raising $527.000 

1. State Project – MEFRC / Memorial Forest

Our Recreation Center and Memorial forest needs our help. We have a lot of work to do to turn around our operation and move to the future. Our Board of Trustees, Managers, and Rec. Committees have work hard but they need our help. The Rec. needs our support, and business. We would like to see an increase in business, including outings, daily customers, members and contributors. We hope to raise funds this year through a special year long raffle and other avenues. We have been hit hard by Michigan’s Economy and rising gas prices. We can combat these things by pitching in to help. We do not see any large major projects, just basic maintenance, new activities for families and kids, including walking nature trails, play areas, and other special events.  

1. Teach our Members what we are about

We complain that the Eagles are the best kept secret, well to tell you the truth many or our problems are our own creation as we do not properly educate our members about what we do and why we do it. Many join for the social aspects and the cheap drinks. Lets take the time to teach them and all new members about why we exist, the charities and causes we work for, and what we do for our community. Encourage your members to sign up quality members not quantity. If we do this we will eventually eliminate problems, and aeries that are Just bars. We need quality to promote the FOE.  

1. Conclusion

In conclusion, we have a lot of work to do in Michigan. We are a leader amongst our organization. We are looked up to, copied and respected across the Jursidiction. It is time that we step to the plate and hit one out of the park. Michigan is destined to be number one, this is why we are known as MIGHTY MICHIGAN.  

If we work together as a team, we will bring a championship to Michigan this year and for many years to come. So go out and work hard for your favorite cause, no matter what it might be, Lets show our members, our friends and everyone else what the Eagles are all about and why we are Mighty Michigan.
